Part VII: Ready for Real Life | Chapter 31
Design Your Own Future

The Goal
By the end of this chapter you will have a flexible plan for the next three years and a concrete plan for the next three months. You will have one small habit that moves you forward, a way to say no without breaking relationships, and you will use AI as a planning partner — without letting it decide your life for you.
Understand: your future starts with the next decision
When you leave school, the pressure comes from every side. Your family expects you to find work quickly. Your friends seem to be moving ahead. You have an idea, but no money to start.
It looks as if everyone else has a plan. In reality, people start from very different places. Some have family support, others carry responsibility at home. Some can keep studying, others must earn now.
Your starting point matters. It doesn’t decide every step. Instead of asking “What must my whole life look like?”, ask three smaller questions:
- What is important to me?
- What do I want to improve in the next year?
- What can I do this week to move towards it?
You are allowed to change direction when you learn something new.
