What data we collect, why, and what you can ask of us.

Missing Linkk Studios is being registered as a company in Kenya. Until the registration is complete, the person responsible for personal data on this website is Rachael Komen Hoffmann, Nairobi, Kenya. For every question about your data, write to learn@missinglinkk.com. We handle personal data in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
Like every website, our server records technical data for each visit: IP address, date and time, the page you opened, and your browser and device type. We need this to deliver the website and keep it secure; our security software uses it to stop attacks. We keep this data only as long as needed for that purpose.
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
When you create an account, we store your username, first name, email address, your password in encrypted form, the date you joined and your membership. You confirm that you are 18 or older. We use this data to give you access to the lessons, to send emails about your account such as the welcome email or a password reset, and to answer your questions. During free early access we do not ask for payment details.
What you type into the prompt fields, the results you paste and the checklists you tick are saved in your browser on your own device. They are not sent to us, and we cannot see them. On every chapter page you can download them, restore them from a file or delete them.
We only email you news if you tick the box for it, and only when there is something real to tell you. We store your choice and its date. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email or under My account.
We only use cookies that the website needs: login cookies that keep you signed in, a cookie during sign-up, and a cookie our membership software uses to count visits. We do not use cookies for advertising.
Missing Linkk Learn started on shirikiana.co.ke and moved to this website in November 2026. Early access accounts moved with it: username, first name, email address, encrypted password and membership dates. Newsletter choices were not carried over.
Our hosting provider stores this website and its data for us. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. Schools, sponsors and partners who give learners access, for example through a Shirikiana Learning Pass, receive overall numbers only, not data about individual learners, unless the learner agrees.
We keep your account data as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep part of it.
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to get a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere. Write to learn@missinglinkk.com. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya (odpc.go.ke).
Accounts are for people aged 18 or older. Younger learners join through their school, a workshop or a sponsor, with the consent of a parent or guardian.
We update this page when the way we handle data changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
