The Goal

By the end of this chapter you will have a clear picture of what you can offer other people — including skills you didn’t know you had. You will understand which skills are worth more since AI arrived, and which are worth less. And you will have a shortlist of two or three service ideas to test.

A word before Part III

This part of the book is about earning money. So let me be honest from the start.

I will not promise you an income. Nobody can. What I can give you is a method to find out what people will pay you for, to test it cheaply, and to build on what works. Some of you will earn well. Some will earn a little extra. Some will find that the skills they built here help them get a job instead. All of these are good outcomes.

Be careful with anyone who promises you fast, easy money online. You learned in Chapter 7 what to do with such promises.
