Part II: The Digital Builder | Chapter 6
AI-Assisted Programming — From Idea to Working Code

The Goal
By the end of this chapter you will be able to use AI as a programming partner: describe what you need, get code, understand what it does, find errors, test and improve step by step. You will know the difference between code that looks right and code that works, and why the responsibility for security stays with you. You will build a working contact form in WordPress, make sure its messages really arrive, add a WhatsApp button and test both the way a visitor uses them. You will not become a professional programmer here. You will become someone who can build small working solutions and stay in control of them.
Understand: AI writes, you understand, you test, you answer for it
Programming used to mean writing every line yourself. Today you can describe what you need and get working code in seconds. That comes with one responsibility many beginners miss: code you don’t understand is not your solution. If it breaks, you can’t fix it. If it has a security hole, you won’t see it. If the client asks how it works, you can’t answer.
The rule for this chapter: AI writes the code. You understand it, you test it, and you are responsible for it. You don’t need to become a software engineer for that. You need to understand enough to check that the result does what it should.
